HUBLI: KSRTC employees have urged the government to fulfill their long pending demands. Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, H V Ananthasubbarao, principal secretary, KSRTC Staff and Workers Federation alleged that KSRTC has not paid Rs 680 crore due to its employees and urged the transport corporation to clear the dues immediately.
The state government should address the issues relating to inefficient administration of the corporation and fulfill the long-pending demands of the employees, he said.
Their demands include: Exempting motor vehicle tax being paid by the KSTRC and BMTC, waiving toll fee paid by KSRTC buses, exempting VAT on diesel oils, and not to bring Karnataka Essential Services Maintenance Bill into force.
The federation will hold a meeting in Bangalore on January 20, 21 and 22 to decide the future course of action, he said.
